Default defend droknars- the new villainy

People never seem to really read the quest or where it starts...and i seem to notice a LOT of people starting it from droknars (like people starting villainy from lions arch, which is why i made the comparison). ignorance perhaps?

and the quest is worth more than it should be, like villainy

Yes, it's pretty annoying. I go to GRANITE CITADEL where it starts, and everybody there is still trying to get to the war camp...

It's tough to find a group at Granite for this one, yeah, but not entirely impossible. Now, finding and forming a GOOD group...that's another thing entirely. And this is a quest that DEMANDS a good group.

i will be the first to admit i didnt read the quest log! lol neither did the other 7 in my pug! we did however beat it, it took a long time, 4 people dropped out. the 4 of us remaining had 60% dp. we killed one monster at a time in the little "hallway" type area and me being the monk, i would rez them right afterwards until just the boss was there. then we took him down. it took some time, but it was fun. the 3 others in the group were good people. if only i kept their names for future quests! lol

I was with a good group and we knocked it out relatively quickly. Seems on par with FOW. The only problem was that I didn't have the quest. Where do you get it?

Not really. It's only a little more difficult than Hell's Precipice. My monk did it quite easily with henchmen. Yes, everything is easy with a monk but I don't believe it will be drastically more difficult when I try it with my elementalist. A few more deaths maybe, but you can just respawn over and over and over if you want.

I also finished with all henchmen with my W/E. And the quest is received from the "Vision of Glint" statue in DroknarĀ“s Forge.

Wow, this almost sounded exactly like my group, except we brought the boss to the rezpoint and killed them off as we rezzed. Our leader(a W/Mo...) said "we can't win this" and left. He left and all that was left was a Titan Heart and the Boss. 2 minutes longer and we won and he said "oh i dont believe you"

Comparing between the new quests, this quest isn't as hard as Orozar or Final Assault. Completed it quite easily with a pug.

Orozar is hard because if he dies, it's game over.
Final Assault is tough due to the respawning binders and high-damage djinns.

The Last Day Dawns and Defend Northern Kryta Province are MUCH harder IMO.

In Last Day Dawns, its extremely hard to find a group, you're limited to 4 character parties, and the henchies are level 6.

In Defend Kryta Province, you get 6 member groups, but the henchies are still level 10, while the enemy mobs are level 28...

People in Lion's Arch seem more interested in spamming trades than doing the quest it seems T_T

Defend North Kryta is by far the most frustration I have had with getting a group together. Half the people seek in Lion's arch, the other half in Temple of Ages. I've made it to the boss part of it three times with a full team of 8 with 10% bonus and still failed. It's HARD.

That one is the hardest, but very possible. Kill titans before growths (including any spawned titans from the last growth before moving on to the next growth) and concentrate fire from the whole party on the boss and the rotting titans before they get a chance to do anything. A minionmancer in the team is a big help in a lot of the update content, as in both the titan quests and sorrow's furnace the wells of suffering and other corpse exploits are a royal pain. Better to use the bodies before they do, and have a little fodder to take some of the constant blinding and other attacks for you. Take it from someone who has beaten everything in all the update content.

I dont know about the others, but defend droknors is HELLA EASY. Beat it on my first try using only HENCHIES, even though the dang henchies won't ever go for the healers.T_T BTW im an e/me

If you call the targets they will, or atleast that works everytime for me. I've used henchies for every thing expcept thirsty river and thunderhead keep. They work so much better than pugs and they don't leave halfway through or pull a lerroy.

I reacently did Defend North Kryta with my ranger. there was another ranger in the group and we both noticed that most of the titans are spellcasters. we both decided to run interrupts and the quest was a breeze after that. Chocking gas is surprisingly effective here.
